Another entry of the “Well-played, Babylon Bee” long and longer list!
DAYTON, OH — Local man Troy Greer announced that after a long, intense round of negotiations with his wife, he had emerged victorious and had successfully negotiated her down to getting absolutely everything she wanted.
Citing the shrewd negotiations between the Trump administration and Iranian officials, Greer was pleased that he had sealed the deal to cave on nearly everything his wife had demanded.
“I learned a lot from President Trump and watching how he handles negotiations,” Greer stated. “So I stood my ground. I beat her in every argument with logic and reason. When I finally wore her down, I then conceded to absolutely everything that she wanted.”
The initial conflict was over plans for a home renovation. “I just dealt blow after blow to her argument,” Greer explained. “I even had a spreadsheet to show how her plans did not fit the budget. I rendered her completely speechless.” Greer then shuddered, remembering his wife’s expression when she was speechless. “So it was a complete and decisive victory,” Greer continued. “All that was needed was an end to the conflict, which was accomplished with total capitulation. On my part, of course.”

Range Report –
The Glock 48mos (slimline) has proven to be not as perfect as I would expect. After 200 rounds of 124g I’ve had 1 FTF with the 10 round OEM Magazines.
200 rounds of 124g with Palmetto State Armory Micro Dagger 15 round Magazines I’ve had 3 FTE/ FTF with practice ammo but zero with 15 rounds of 147g hollow points of various makes in the same magazine.
With the new Glock made 15 round Magazines 124g I had 1 FTF and a FTE on the 1st round..
Ammo again?
Then 100 rounds without an issue.
During the first magazine I was struggling to manage the recoil- it’s a featherweight.

How Trump could handle Iran’s negotiating intransigence.
Iran is blocking negotiations on issues America wants resolved until Trump buckles and forces Israel to quit attacking Iran’s Hezbollah proxies that are attacking Israel.
The idea is simple. After talking with Israel’s Prime Minister Netanyahu, Trump makes a public statement something like this:
“Israel is our most trusted ally. Israel is not a signatory to the current Memorandum of Understanding with Iran. It is improper for America to negotiate with Iran on issues that are vital for Israel’s survival and safety.”
“I have decided that discussions with Iranian representatives are useless until such time as Iran and Israel reach an agreement regarding Iran’s support for Hezbollah attacks on Israel.”
“Therefor, I’m am suspending the Memorandum of Understand and any kind of discussions with Iran until such time as Iran and Israel agree upon, and implement, a settlement of the Hezbollah issue.”
“Until that is accomplished, America will continue to oppose Iranian actions to advance their dominance of the Persian Gulf regions. I will authorize all military and political initiatives necessary to accomplish this. Thank you for your attention.”
That ought to block Iran from trying to use the MoU to advance their objectives without a binding agreement with America and Israel. I’m betting Iran’s Ayatollah never expected his MoU strategy could blow up in his face like this.
Since Iran would be humiliated by talking directly with Israel, I expect that the Iran issue will be taken off America’s political table until well after the midterm elections.
It’s a win-win for Trump.
I can only hope something like this is at least considered.

PM Mark Carney Leading The Charge For The Descent of Canada Into Godless Communism
Bills C-9, C-22 & Bill C-34;
The Prince of Darkness must be doing an “Elbows Up” Dance of sheer giddy delight. The authoritarian Canadian Liberal Government—only in office for one year and two months—is now booting God Almighty right out of Canada, and will be looking to incarcerating Canadians for quoting Biblical Scripture.
‘Carney’s Plot to censor the entire internet’-headline (National Post, June 15, 2026.)
Directly after passing Bill C-9, known as the Combatting Hate Act, the Liberals will go into a three-month-long hide-out, starting tomorrow. One World Government leading advocate, WEF’er Prime Minister Mark Carney is sending all MPs on a taxpayer-paid vacation, lasting up to Sept. 27.
Once Bill C-9 receives Royal Assent, innumerable Canadian news sites, including Canada Free Press have about one month to try to find a way to stop the Ottawa Government from throwing all of us offline.
In other words, legions of Canadian news sites have about one month to try to find a way to protect ourselves from being thrown offline by the authoritarian Liberal government.
It’s now a dark day, finding its way into a darker night.
Since succeeding with Bill C-9, the Liberals are trying to rush two more Bills through before leaving for vacation:
Bill C-22 (legal access/surveillance) and Bill C-34 (Digital Security). Together, these bills will annihilate, our fundamental rights:
FROM: GC (@ce_msm)
“The Liberals are ramming through the following bills:
“C-9 (Anti-Hate Law): Dramatically expands the definition of hate (hate/defamation), eliminates long-standing religious defenses for good-faith expression, and facilitates criminal prosecutions without the Attorney General’s consent. Criticizing, preaching, or even displaying certain symbols could now land you with criminal charges. Gone are the protections for religious freedom of expression and sensitive public debates.
“C-22 (legal access): Forces Internet service providers to retain metadata for one year, eases police and CSIS access to your data, and allows the minister to impose access fees (backdoors in disguise). Mass surveillance of your digital communications without a warrant. Your online life becomes completely transparent to the state.
“Bill C-34 (Digital Security Act): This bill creates a powerful government Digital Security Commission that will dictate to platforms, chatbots, and online services what they must censor, how to verify user ages, and how to protect against harmful content. Mandatory age controls, imposed safety plans, massive fines, and sweeping discretionary powers to decide what’s acceptable. Centralized censorship in the name of child protection. Together, these three bills transform Canada into a surveillance and censorship state.
“We’re headed into a dangerous day when even referencing Biblical Scripture online can end in your incarceration.
“You won’t be able to speak, share, or even think freely without risking being flagged, monitored, or prosecuted. Dissenting voices, immigration critiques, religious debates, controversial opinions—everything becomes dangerous.
“This is no longer governance. It’s the death of freedom of expression as we knew it in Canada. The Liberals have chosen to trample citizens’ rights entirely.
“The Carney government signalled for months that it would pass a law to protect kids from online harms, including by banning access to social media for those under age 16. What we got instead may be the biggest threat to free expression in decades: mandatory censorship of social media and AI. (National Post)
Bill C-9 is only one of a series of bills drowning Free Expression:
“The Safe Social Media Act, Bill C-34, aims to keep kids from signing up for TikTok and Instagram, which is bad enough since it means teenagers will be censored. While many parents don’t want their teens on TikTok, others believe their 15-year-olds are mature enough.(National Post)
“Still, the much bigger concern is that the act would create a new Digital Safety Commission with the power to force social media companies and artificial intelligence to censor the speech of adult Canadians.
“The Digital Safety Commission would enforce “duties to act responsibly” by “mitigating the risk” that Canadians are exposed to “harmful content.” Mitigating risk means exactly how it sounds: censoring as much content, either by blocking it or demoting it, as the regulator requires.
“Social media content is by definition expression and protected by the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. The outputs of artificial intelligence chatbots are also protected speech. They are, after all, nothing more than a reflection of human-created speech and writing.(National Post)
“The government can only limit expression if the limit is demonstrably justified in a free and democratic society. Some of the limits proposed in C-34 easily pass this test, including requiring social media companies to take down intimate images communicated without consent or child abuse images, and blocking AI from telling its users to commit crimes or to engage in self-harm.
“But the “duty to act responsibly” also includes much more subjective speech like content that “foments hatred.” Plenty of content that one person (or AI chatbot) may believe is “hatred” is another person’s reasoned argument. It must not be censored.
“Social media companies and AI companies will be forced to err on the side of caution, taking down anything that comes close, or risk fines up to $10 million or three per cent of global revenues. This will mean a sanitized version of the Internet where we won’t be able to debate difficult topics or get to the actual truth.
“Just consider what the Supreme Court has said counts as “hatred” in the context of criminal hate speech and anti-discrimination law. The court has said hatred is only extreme vilification and detestation. But what exactly is vilification or detestation? We’re told to look at the “hallmarks of hatred.” These are extremely fuzzy and cover many things free people need to be allowed to say.
“Truly hateful speech can cause real harm and shouldn’t be condoned, but social media companies already give us the tools we need to filter out speech that we don’t want to hear, and AI companies already build in safety protections.”

Another fascinating bit of history. The idea that one-third of Baghdad’s population in 1939 was Jewish casts a very different light on 2,600 years of Baghdad and Jewish history. How there are now only four elderly Jews left has got to be a bloody, ugly story.
“Ellis grew up speaking Judeo-Iraqi Arabic. Her mother tongue isn’t exactly dead, but it is dying, like many Jewish languages that are not Hebrew or Yiddish, and like many of the beautiful Jewish languages spoken by Jews of the Arab world. The Jewish community in Iraq is one of the world’s oldest, dating back to the sixth century B.C.E., when Nebuchadnezzar conquered Judea and sent most of the population there into exile in Babylonia. In 1939, Baghdad was at least one-third Jewish. As of Passover 2021, there were reportedly just four elderly Jews left in Iraq.”

What the Iran MOU Is Really All About — It’s not Israel. It’s not even Iran. Look closer to home.
Gary Gindler | June 21, 2026
I’m a big Iran MoU critic who sees it as a disaster that may fracture MAGA nation. This article makes the best counter argument I’ve seen. It sees MAGA’s war with woke lefties as more important than the threat from Iran. That’s the strongest pro-Iran deal argument that can be made.
You should read this as well as articles describing a weak, unenforceable, deal that demoralizes the anti-Iran MAGA position held by conservative anti-isolationist MAGAns and Christians concerned about floods of Muslim immigrants destroying American values.
Considering multiple views always gives you a better understanding of issues, despite making wise choices tougher.

Maybe this kinda of bullying is why Baghdad is now home for four elderly Jews when they used to be 1/3 of the population.
Easy to predict Trump will make more threats. Difficult to believe he will finally capture and keep Kharg Island.

RE: MoU negotiations
Put in baseball lingo, bottom of the 9 th, two strike outs, no hits, no one on base, the pitch count in 0-2., IRGC one more strike, and you are OUT.
Have a nice day !
Hope this is so. Afraid it’s not.
Just to be clear…
We are talking about Military Strikes, not baseball.
One more Strike, and the game is over.
PM Mark Carney Leading The Charge For The Descent of Canada Into Godless Communism
Bills C-9, C-22 & Bill C-34;
Wow
No protest, but a wag of the finger?

IMO, just step back and let Israel do IDF stuff
I agree. Israel didn’t sign any peace agreement and why would they. I like Trump but I think he fubar’d on this one. He’s worried about midterms now, not to mention a world wide catastrophe if the planet runs out of oil.

In the stack: “Lindsey Graham predicts failure of Iran talks.”
Huh, doesn’t take much to make Graham look like a visionary.
His Stock Portfolio is counting on it.

Good point
Happy Father’s Day to my fellow Paterfamilias’s.
