As a 1990 UC Davis grad this is embarrassing. In my time we had an indoor rifle and pistol range in the middle of campus. We regularly had shooting competitions with other universities at the Presidio in San Francisco. I can’t even live in California anymore. I moved to Nevada and then to Florida to get away from the ridiculousness.

UC Davis Chancellor and Sacramento Bee Reporter incited the violence and the result was a severely damaged UC David building.
