My wife and I were once gifted a Welsh Terrier puppy. She was a hoot. We had to put her down over a year ago. She was the best friend either of us had ever known. We still talk about her constantly and probably always will. Dogs may not be able to talk our language, but they definitely share all of our feelings and they think more like we do than any other animal I have been in contact with. I thank God for that dog almost every day.

Dogs are definitely gifts from God. I had 2 dogs , wonderful companions and miss them as much as family and friends who have transition to heaven.

I’ve read that during the wars in the sandboxes that some teams were extremely reluctant to go on patrol without a K-9 team member. They believed, with good reason, their risks were lower with a dog and handler on patrols. Many of our soldiers are alive today because of K-9s. I have the utmost respect for the K-9s and their handlers. Thank you.
