Kamala Harris and Willie Brown are working the kinks out in the system.

Schumer, Nads, Pelosi and Sanders are in line waiting to help.

I’m in FL. I always wonder what will happen if evacuation is necessary (hurricanes, you know) and the people in Miami/Ft Lauderdale/Naples will all have to charge up at the same time? They will never make it out of the state.

Stupid people. All waiting in line hoping that the charging station works when they get to it and then they spend more time waiting for the charge to take place. Hopefully there is no brownouts or blackouts.

A good recommendation would be to stop relying on a supply chain that is being manipulated into failure now rather than later. My humble .02

This is why I’m happy to go straight to the farmers and support them directly. Have been doing it for 2 years in regards to meat, fruits, veggies and home made bread. Its actually much more healthier to stick with fresh farm products.

Plugging into a typical outlet at home with a simple Level 1 adapter will take approx 40 hours to charge your vehicle. Using a Level 2 charger that they recommend you purchase with your EV car ($700 to $1,000) can charge it up in 6 to 8 hours. You get about 20 to 25 miles from an hour of charging. Now the ‘big boy’ chargers. The Level 3 that you find at EV stations. They can charge your vehicle in 35 to 50 minutes depending on battery size and how much you need. I can fill my gas tank from empty to full in 6 minutes. Do these EV owners know what fuels the electricity arriving to these charging stations. Do they understand the ‘Chain’ of power? When the truthful data about that arrives, it’s going to be a very bad day for all EV owners. They did not make things better. They made it worse. When their battery can no longer accept a full charge. They will need to purchase another battery. They say these batteries should last 15 to 20 years or 100,000 miles. I don’t believe a word of that. Way too many people are already complaining about dead batteries after only 3 years. New batteries can be purchased for $9,000 to $20,000!!! Wait times at EV charging stations before you even plug in is typically 20 to 40 minutes. Plus the added time to charge your own vehicle. How do any of these current numbers make this a good idea. I won’t even bring up the amount of current needed to keep these charging stations operating at full power. One last thing… when your city electricity goes out OR gets turned off in a brown out or black out situation. Well…, never mind. You know where I’m going. A lot further then an EV in that predicament. Keep the faith ✝️

That’s definitely progress! Now there are 145 outlets in that location that allows you to burn more coal and natural gas in your car! You know, to help save the environment!

After all, placing a different middleman (the electric utility as opposed to an oil refinery) between coal, gas, fuel oil, and nuclear sources helps save our environment!

We are the world
We are the children
We are the ones who make a brighter day, so let’s start giving
(by burning more coal and less oil)
There’s a choice we’re making
We’re saving our own lives
It’s true we’ll make a better day, just you and me

Has anyone ever been to a tire factory? How about paint? It takes coal to produce generators that make electricity. The best thing about EV is that it’s only a battery to change out. No complicated engines, and all the required accessories. But, they must put up charging stations in every county and offer a back up plan if electric grids are shit down, such as hybrids.(gas & electric). I’m not keen on changing to EV’s and I don’t believe they will save the environment, but it is a reality forced upon us so why not accept it now and learn about it. By the way, if all people end up with EV’s, the local & federal government will have total control over your independence. Look at what Oregon did with people who have the NEST thermostats in their homes? The government shut them off because they were using too much electric energy! Beware!

I wonder how one of these coal fired power electric cars does when hit by lightning? And don’t believe the old myth the tires will save you.

Environmentalist are the worst proponanants of poluting the world. If they were not, they would fight to rid us of electric cars strictly reliant on hazardous material batteries and would push to close our borders and illegal aliens poluting and burdening our environment. .

And who pays for the electricity to charge their batteries?

Elizabeth

If your in an accident in an EV, rescuers are not allowed to approach the vehicle until an electrician arrives & disconnects the battery’s. Paramedical have reported waiting up to an hour for the electrician to arrive.

One EV owner reported that he was informed he needed to replace one of his batteries. He was locked out of his car until that battery was replaced.

In extreme weather certain things in an EV can stop working including the meter that tells you how far you have left to drive before needing to charge.

Sorry, EV’s are a scam. A rich man’s toy, a dictators dream!

Looks like Madonna Inn in San Luis Obispo. Not a super populated area but it’s near the university…. say no more.

Mr Modanna, who created that historic inn and contributed greatly to the highway development in that town, would not be impressed. That’s what happens when the kids take over!! Not a great advertisement for bringing your EV to liberal SLO.

Modonna Inn has amazing cakes in their restaurant and amazing rooms though. Just don’t be in a hurry to leave unless you have one of those wonderful GAS powered cars!! There are plenty of gas stations… until they tear them all down and tax them to death.
