Love, love love the Buccees shirt!
Just here to serve and protect.
And that’s an “improvement” over the 1960s? Asking for a friend…
‘Skitching’ on the back of home heating oil delivery trucks was a blast.
In my area of Texas, the cops have a hissy fit.
The sheriff’s department (outside of the city) will give you tips on how to make your sled work better.
Some old car hoods work pretty well.
A kid got killed doing this by hitting a mailbox.
Things happen in the world of random as ‘kids’ hit things while on their bicycles.
People are being given an injection of a serum of dubious purpose for a flu with a 99.5% survival rate and over 1,130 people have died from the injection, too. The state says the injections are safe, but they are not. Your priorities are backwards.
Mailbox ban on the way.
Yeah, he shouldn’t have hit the mailbox. Thats ashame, but kids do stupid shit all the time.
A kid drowned taking a bath. What’s you point.
When cars still has numbers we used to hang on the back of them for a block or two
We called that “sketching”…
hookybobbing in MI
Bumper rides . We would have so many kids hanging on , the cars couldn’t make it up the hills .
And Ted Cruz thinks you have to go to Cancun to have fun.
Turd in the Punchbowl, if hes a Dem the cops would tow him around themselvs
We didn’t have snow growing up. We pulled each other in a big field behind a truck riding on old truck hood. The good old days
Hood sledding should be an olympic sport.
In ID they pull kids down the irrigation canals on skis.
In the SoCal desert I saw a Piper Supercub pulling a water skier in an irrigation canal.
Shades of Cool Running.
People do that in our rural area but not on major roads. Nothing wrong with having fun but use a little bit of brains when you do it.
Fun has very little to do with brains. This is why sage broom is not a fun person. The cop was endangering the slider. It’s on film. one bump and the kid is a grease mark under the cop car.
I was in Austin in a 4 wheel drive behind these clueless people walking in the MIDDLE of the ice covered road talking on their phones. They are the clueless zombies raised on selfies. They gave everyone the finger for honking at them for them to get out of the road before they cause pile ups. Don’t glamorize stupidity Kane.
I would expect that in Austin, Texas unfortunately.
Its all fun and games until someones skull is crushed by a car driving behind you.
Cite one empirical example, ever.
Seriously? LOL! You ACTUALLY think it’s out of the norm to be a pedestrian struck by a vehicle on the ice? Your arrogance is bleach in the gene pool.
Reminiscent of shagging cars in the winter as a youth.
SLAVE MUZZLES ARE NOTHING MORE THAN OBEDINCE TRAINERS!!
Seriously, they didn’t see that coming before they started?
I’m sure Austin taxed the shit out of them
AND told them to be less white
but they let BLM burn down Austin last year
BLM is right about one thing
Pigs in a blanket
fry em like bacon
I think you want the Hill or Daily Beast.
You Americants can’t make up your mind. You either want Freedom or you want to be controlled.
When they come for you Blokes guns your gonna still be kissing the pigs arses. Cops are facken trash with a license to kill mate. If you can’t see it you better get some new speccies.
Must have been a really bad guy….
Da Po Po, ruining the kids fun.
Whatcha’ gonna do when they come for you? Bad boy, bad boy.
We used to do this on snowboards and skis behind ATVs and snowmobiles. Not on the road though, frozen lakes.
Us too. But never on a road. We have a child here in Michigan who is currently in critical condition because of exactly this. Keep it off the roads.
Do it on the back country roads, not on streets in town.
This made my day to see this little kid enjoying some fun in the snow. I just hope the officer understood that they were just having some fun and at the worst just gave like them like a warning.
Your probably right.
That is a lot of fun, we did it as kids with a upside down car hood and our kids with a tube. But we never did it on a blacktop, just dirt roads and pastures.
This’ll be spun on MSM as a cop doing a ‘bad’ stop. He will be portrayed as ‘the demon’. If he is white he will be ‘evil’.
I remember when I would ride down a flight of wooden-stairs in a cardboard box. I would do this over and over again. As I got older, I rode on the hood of a friends car holding on for dear life. That was just for kicks. We all do stupid stuff, and yes dangerous stuff, but the memories are there. Dad being involved, eh, let the kids do dumb stuff, because they will.
That kid has some stories to tell, that’s for sure. It was dumb, but doesn’t mean dad is a bad guy.
Officer I swear I didn’t know that guy was back there… I don’t even know who he is.
S-hed father of the year.
We hid behind bush on corner and waited for cars to turn on our snow covered road and grabbed their bumper; good ole chrome bumpers then…
Cops were correct, find a better spot with no obstacles
All a lot of fun. Till someone gets killed. Like happened in Nashville. Father drug his son into a mailbox. Smashed his skull.
People die every day, it’s part of the human condition.
yes it’s probably not wise to be towed behind a moving vehicle on a snow/ice covered road especially what appears to be the main drag but who cares it isn’t harming you or anyone else.
Then sued the sled or car manufacturer?
I don’t think the father was a liberal, so probably not.
……and the homeowner of the mailbox, and the USPS…..
Sorry, doing that on a road where there’s traffic? Right move by police.
It’s not very hard to find a street where there’s no traffic – or even an empty parking lot.
Being responsible and considerate of others?
Child endangerment to my mind.
If the cops let this go, all kinds of other idiots will think they are allowed to do it also. Stupid fools – hopefully the parents got a massive ticket and not just a warning.
Calm down there, dictator.
Citizen arrest! Citizen arrest!
There are no villains here. But better to do this on a mountain.
Maybe do it on a neighborhood street instead of a main one with cars driving….Dad.
Think a little more about your kids then your fun.
We did that sort of thing all the time back in the day. We would have 4 -5 sled all tied to the same rope behind the vehicle. The front person would get his/her sled to go from side to side….by the time that reaction got back to the last sled it was a violent side to side action It was great fun….. back in the day.
