One of the great comebacks in recent years, and by a team that isn’t that good.

Sports fans have what is similar to battered wife syndrome. How many times can you, your country, or our soldiers be insulted or spit on before you decide to keave? How many times can you punched in the face before you leave? A sane person would say once…

I don’t like football or organized sports, but you can enjoy talent wherever it is.

Liberalism is a malignancy which must be removed

Well, it was against Moo U, so it takes a glean off the accomplishment. The 5-6 team coached by the $100 million identity hire.

A jock friend, three season HS coach, told me decades ago a line, not original but probably well used in sport minded circles, “speed kills.” Realized eventually it applies to almost all sports. This kid killed alright go alright.

(sigh)… I was never a “team” sports fan. Give me one person, against who or whatever, giving 110% to succeed, standing or falling on their own wits and skill, any day.

It’s an optical illusion. He looks faster because he is so small. Kind of like how a go cart feels really fast because you’re inches off the pavement.

All jokes aside that was a nice return.

PawSteve

The fact that no one else could get close to him is not an optical illusion.

Indiana University mandates the jab. They’re the main reason my nephew decided to get jabbed. I can’t cheer for them and I went to school there 🙁

C’mon man! Don’t let them ruin the joy of sports for everybody. We need some healthy distraction. We get it, the ruling elites are trying to ruin everything.

Love it that Kane includes some Hoosier flavor in his outstanding news compilation.

Good for him. He’s been blessed. Hopefully he doesn’t grow up to be a degenerate douche bag.

Jaylin Lucas 5’9 175

Style wise, Lucas reminds of #1 Noland ‘Super Gnat’ Smith of the KC Chiefs. Generously listed 5’6 1/2 154 lbs. (or small as 5’5 151 lbs. depending source), ‘Super Gnat’ burned brightly if briefly in pro football. 1967, first game ever, he returned the first kick he ever received 86 yards for a td that rookie season, then tied the all-time pro football record his last game that year with a 106 yard td return (too soon, his small stature/injuries caught up with, despite his 4.3 40 yd & 9.4 100 yd speed.) Don’t believe there has ever been a smaller – or more exciting – player in pro football history.

Here’s a picture of Smith standing next to DT Ernie Ladd. Of note, KC not only had the smallest ever player in Smith but also biggest ever player in Ladd (6’9 3/4 and early career 360 lbs., still the tallest/biggest height & weight combo ever pro football.)

For all the kick-return players who dance, stutter step or even run backwards looking for THE big opening – the first video on this page should be required viewing.
There was no opening. He did not try to make an opening. He just turned on the juice and took the path of least resistance. He ran through leaving no time to react. This does not always result in a touchdown but usually gets good yardage.
This is surely better than watching runners get tackled for a loss because they ran backwards looking for THE big opening.

How in the world does a systemically racist country like the USA let a black kid into college and let him get on the football team? I sure hope he kneels during the anthem when he gets into the NFL to protest all the oppression he has to overcome.

I thought Purdue Is the school for top notch engineers? Apparently the original definition of engineer , being a ‘locomotive operator,’ doesn’t apply here. Maybe all the Purdue engineers have learned to code?

Nicely played, John.

Just like movies, just like concerts, just a distraction from the negative of life.
