While not as dramatic or widely visible as last year’s Great North American Eclipse, this partial eclipse still offered a stunning celestial display.
A partial solar eclipse occurs when the moon moves between the Earth and the sun, partially covering the sun and creating a crescent-shaped appearance.

Two anti-Tesla protests were held in San Antonio as part of what organizers called a βGlobal Day of Action.β The plan called for demonstrations at 200 Tesla dealerships worldwide on Saturday. Despite being the second largest city in the Lone Star State with a population of nearly 1.5 million residents, less than a dozen protesters showed up at each of the two scheduled Tesla protests in the Alamo City.
The cherry blossom trees in Washington, D.C., officially reached peak bloom on Saturday, with travelers and tourists from far and wide flocking to the nationβs capital for a close-up view.
About 1.5 million people travel to D.C. during the festival each year, according to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
