Rush, I looked up to you and loved you for decades. I was both honored and humbled to speak with you on your radio show, to attend your former TV show with my late dad (who also loved you)! You even printed one of my little blurbs in one of your early newsletters. Your last newsletter was so poignant Rest in peace in the arms of your loving Savior. You served Him and all of humanity with selflessness, humility, and genuine compassion. We will never forget you, Rush!

Just listened to Friday’s show hosted by Mark Steyn, on my Rush 24/7 app. I had forgotten some of the MANY comedy bits Rush had did over the last 30 years. Rush was SO incredible, the first guy to do stand-up, sitting down. I suggest if you need instant laughs, get the Rush 24/7 App while you can. Rush may be gone, but those laughs& hoots will never die! LONG LIVE RUSH!!😆

I have wept and my only relief comes from knowing that Rush is talking God’s head off, asking Him what He’s going to do about what’s going on down here.

Bo, there is no doubt Rush loved you as you loved him.
We all feel your loss and understanding what a great team and family you were.
May your pain pass with time.

Bo was always nice when you called. We had a nice chat one afternoon at the close of the show

I’d leave a leftist hive at lunchtime and listen while running an errand.

Rush had a distinct pause and cadence while speaking.

Gave you time to settle down. Think.

No one does that on radio.

I remember Rush telling us he used that pause, sometimes extended for 3-4 seconds, to pull people’s attention in. He said it was a broadcasters tool. Funny, he didn’t need that tool. We were all ears as soon as he got in front of the Golden EIB microphone. 🎙

I dreaded the day Rush Limbaugh might pass away, wondering how such a void could ever be filled? Never. Rush was one-of-a-kind and always a gentleman. So articulate, funny, smart and kind. He elevated any conversation. I will miss him. The best gift we can give him in remembrance is to treat the opposition with as much kindness and speak up more against the ideas that seek to destroy rather than construct.

me to. I feel this heaviness of losing a family member. That baritone voice is forever part of my adult life. Found great enjoyment/comfort listening to Rush talk about what was really going on. Learned a lot from Rush over the years.

I got to speak to Bo Snerdley once years ago when I called in to the show. I can’t even remember what my call was about. I was so excited I actually got through my heart was beating like crazy. Total stage fright. Bo was warm and friendly and took my stupid call. It was right at the end of the show which is probably how I got through. Rush too, was warm and friendly and treated me with total respect. I did not expect anyone to care about what I had to say. Took me an hour to come down.

Afterwards, I realized, Bo was being very very kind to let me have my say. Thanks Bo. A real gentleman
Thanks Rush. Easy to see why the two were together

Poor man. They spent decades and hours nearly every day together. Of course he is torn.

Rush was great. Best-in-class for what he did. Always articulate. Funny. Entertaining. Saw his opponents clearly and dealt with them with facts, logic and humor. Managed to be a consistent advocate of rational conservativism defending classical liberalism for hours a day every day for decades. And despite his success was a kind, generous, compassionate man. Excellent, just excellent. He will be much missed, an icon.

So, third political party name is needed?
How about the Rush Party?

I believe it was Mel Gibson that said in his movie Braveheart, “Every man dies. Not every man really lives.” Rush Limbaugh really lived! He taught us to fight back with honor, humor, dignity, truth, sarcasm, wit and wisdom. He taught us the left can be beat. He taught us what the liberal push back looks like. He taught us what life can and should be. And about American exceptionalism. In my opinion, his following was great not because we listened to him but because, unlike our elected officials, he listened to us! He IS us! He tapped into something in the American spirit that was always there, just passed over, forgotten or misplaced. I wonder why the left doesn’t understand us. Or, maybe they do and they just hate and despise us anyway. I guess it doesn’t really matter. … I have a warning / prediction for the left! Be afraid and forewarned! The lessons have been learned well at the Institute For Advanced Conservative Studies! We are ALL Rush Limbaugh now! Class dismissed!

For the longest time I thought Bo Snerdley was a fictitious person.
We will miss Rush and his program.
Hopefully his program will continue with a new host.

The memorial show today is just a rollicking gem. Mark Steyn does a great hosting job. And Monday, he just said, Kathryn Limbaugh will take calls on the program! I so want to hear about the funeral or memorial service.

Bo Snerdley, you were the Golden Microphone, you faithfully and diligently delivered the most conservative radio voice and mind on the face of this earth to the listeners. I can envision your job as one of very few that was such joy, even on a death bed, you would have packed it on your back to the studio to be there and put Rush on the air. Thank you so much Snerdley, you are the best.

Perhaps Bo is the rightful heir to pick up where Rush left off. He especially has the mind of Rush.

Thanks RB for reminder that, Bo is why Rush managed these years to present Excellence.
Remember when Kit Carson passed and, Rush was inconsolable? I don’t think, we could have handled it to hear Rush’s heart like that again, if Bo were hurt or gone first.
Thank you, Bo, for your heart toward Rush who talked to you like a brother, from funny to stern, and you made it such a great show.

Love Rush like a Brother. Met him in Sacramento when his show started.
Very humble guy and a total pro.
I’m continuing to listen to his show, since his great guest hosts will continue in his absence, and the historic archive of Rush shows is a great way to honor him.
RIP my friend

☺️ Several times I couldn’t get past the Gatekeeper “Bo Snerdley”, (Got to some Guest Hosts) so I never talked to Rush. But it was worth trying.

Rush lifted my spirit on dark days, made me laugh on others. He was a consistently excellent human being and a best friend. I’m thankful that he shared his talent and I’ll sorely miss him. Ditto-“and tears filled my eyes.”

Wish I could see the things that our dear Rush is seeing. God holds our future, my confidence is in Him, but his servant is now in a place that Jesus has prepared for him before the foundations of the earth were laid. I shall see him there,

He actually is as Mark Steyn is guest host today running excellent clips of Rush still fresh as ever. Rush will be with us forever and his voice and views have stretched “5” administrations.

Rush – The Man, the Legend, a Way of Life. We’re in trouble now. No one with his caliber of intelligence guided by experience that can decipher what’s really going on with the day’s narratives and the complex issues such as net neutrality, etc.

I do think those that loved him are going to do their level best to step up their games. Mark Steyn was dynamite on Tucker last nite.

Rush was a very unique soul .. rare, stood firmly for the truth, without invective, and outspokenly, he unraveled much of the political intrigues of the followers of Satan, or democrats as we call them. I don’t know about Rush’s devotional life, but it seems to me his behavior would not offend God, as I know Him.. and it’s interesting to consider how Rush stands in the light of eternity.. makes me think back to “The Great Divorce” by C.S. Lewis ..

The world lost a great voice of reason and truth in Rush.

Rush Limbaugh is one of the prime reasons for Donald Trump being elected and the maturation of the MAGA movement. Now that he has graduated we resolve ourselves to work harder to save our way of life. Meanwhile the evil ones expose themselves with their online hatred for us all to see. He’s still working his magic obviously lol.

I hope that the new format of the Rushes show draws heavily on the years of recorded positions and every host asserts he is the “gest host” at least through 2022. Done properly Rush will haunt the liberals for years. We need to keep the audience count as high as when Rush was present it is the best we can do for him now.
