Rachel came on board the USS John F Kennedy (CVA-67) with ‘The Bob Hope Show’ in December ’70 while we were anchored in Souda Bay, Crete. Yeah Buddy! What a great show, and what a Great Man. Thank you, My Hope, for all you did for the servicemen, and women (none on the Kennedy at that time though). It helped take away the feelings of missing home and family during the Holidays (for a while anyway).
